A Special Session on Software Analysis and Testing with Intelligent Techniques
at the 24th International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (SEKE 2012)

The increasing complexity of software systems and a number of recent advances in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) have been providing a fruitful integration between software analysis and testing and AI. AI techniques can provide the means for addressing, studying, analyzing and understanding critical software development issues. The special session focuses on the introducing and implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques in software analysis and testing.

The topic of the special session involves the application of intelligent techniques in software analysis and testing. The special session includes, but is not limited to apply the following AI techniques to software analysis and testing:
* Machine Learning
* Evolutionary algorithms
* Ranking Algorithms
* Regression models
* Statistical methods
* Text Mining & Retrieval
* Probabilistic Reasoning
* Expert Systems
* Neural Networks
* Data Mining
* Fuzzy Logic

Paper submission due: March 15, 2012 (Extended)
Notification of acceptance: April 15, 2012
Early registration deadline: May 10, 2012
Camera-ready copy: May 10, 2012

Information to authors
Authors are invited to submit electronically original, English-language research contributions. Papers should be no longer than 6 pages formatted according to the SEKE guidelines. Accepted papers will be presented at the special session and included in the SEKE proceedings.

The session papers are considered as papers submitted to SEKE 2012, and they undergo the same review process. In addition to submitting papers via the 24th SEKE2012 web site, authors are required to submit a copy of their paper(s) by email to Dr. Zhenyu Chen and Dr. Zheng Li. We plan to publish a special issue of selected papers in the international journal dedicated to software engineering and artificial intelligence.
